On 24 and 25 September 2024, the partners of the AgroTour SUDOE project met in Lerma, Burgos, to advance the project’s objectives of promoting sustainable agritourism in Southwestern Europe. During the working sessions, key topics were addressed, including the mapping of key stakeholders, the creation of pilot experiences, and the identification of good practices across the participating regions.
One of the most relevant moments was the technical visit organised by SODEBUR, during which partners visited local agricultural farms already developing agritourism initiatives. This visit offered the opportunity to observe first-hand the benefits of integrating agritourism into rural life and its positive impact on local economies.
The AgroTour SUDOE project continues to move forward thanks to the commitment of all partners, who remain dedicated to revitalising rural areas and fostering sustainable development through agritourism.
