The I-ReWater project participated in the REUSE EuroMed 2024 Congress, co-organised by Eau, Agriculture et Territoires (formerly AFEID), the INRAE REUSE Network and the EACC Partnership Chair: Water, Agriculture and Climate Change.
Javier J. Cancela, coordinator of I-ReWater and professor at the Terra Campus of the University of Santiago de Compostela, presented the I-ReWater project, which was also mentioned in the presentation by the University of Córdoba, given by Ignacio Gómez Lucena.
In addition, Adrián Agraso Otero, from the USC, presented the results of the Life Cycle Analysis study of the wine pilot project developed in La Rioja, managed by the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences. His work was recognised with the award for best poster at the REUSE EUROMED 2024 conference – Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Wastewater Reuse, which was also the first prize for I-ReWater.
Several members of the consortium remained at the conference until its conclusion, sharing experiences with researchers, water professionals, policy makers and experts in wastewater reuse from the Mediterranean and Europe.
