Associação Natureza Portugal (ANP|WWF) is a portuguese NGO working for conservation of nature, representing the WWF network in Portugal. Being fully aligned with WWF’s core values, it seeks to implement transformational approaches to ensure nature and people live in harmony.
ANP|WWF develops projects in 6 thematic areas: food, forests, oceans, wildlife, climate and energy, and freshwater. The work includes projects on the ground, and at the policy and decision making level. Many municipalities have been involved in its conservation work, including projects on forest restoration, dam removal, river conservation, co-management of fisheries, sustainable food, etc. ANP is well experienced in successfully implementing EU-funded projects.
