ITECAM is a Technology Centre located in Tomelloso (Castilla-La Mancha, Spain)
composed by a multidisciplinary team of Industrial engineers, chemist, designers, market
researchers, PhD and project managers with the aim of resolving industrial needs of the
companies from the concept idea until the final product in the market.
Furthermore, is the leader of a multisectoral business association, The Industrial Cluster of Castilla – La
Mancha, that brings together more than 350 companies in the metal-mechanical and manufacturing
sector, positioning itself as one of the strongest business associations in the region. With more than 20
years of experience, ITECAM plays a fundamental role in the transfer of knowledge to companies, especially
to small and medium-sized companies, which account for 99.4% of the region’s industrial sector,
consolidating its position as the technology centre with the greatest depth and impact on the regional
business community. ITECAM’s dual role allows us to connect the research sector with industrial communities, promoting
research development and encouraging technological innovation in industrial companies. In addition, we
collaborate with universities, research centres, public organizations, official bodies, associations, private
companies, SME and large companies. We have engaged in collaborative research project with the
mentioned partners in Spanish and European initiatives related to Renewable Energies, Innovative
Materials, Additive Manufacturing, Circular Economy, New ICT Technologies, Industry 4.0, Digitalization,
Innovation ecosystems… In terms of innovation and research projects, we are specializing in technologies
linked to the production of Green Hydrogen (AEM electrolysis, PEM, photocatalysis, etc.) and biofuels,
supported by ITECAM’s own research laboratory, along a team of seasoned researchers.
So, alongside providing guidance to the diverse industries within the cluster, ITECAM actively coordinates
its own initiatives and engages in numerous national and international consortia. We use entities to
establish a long-term technological relationship. Entities focused on making a better world through
innovation projects to provide future concepts to current technology.
